The Foundry Cinema & Bowl has long been more than just a family entertainment venue; it has been a central part of the community fabric—a meeting place and a true asset for local residents and visitors alike. Since 2019, the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District (FVMRD) has managed the facility under a lease agreement, and we are proud to announce that we officially purchased the building on November 21, 2023.
The Foundry features 8 Brunswick bowling lanes designed to meet USBC standards, accommodating everything from casual play to league and tournament events. With the simple touch of a button, we can pop up gutter guards to ensure everyone in your group has fun, no matter their skill level. As Grand County, Winter Park, and Fraser’s only bowling alley, The Foundry is perfect for a family outing or a fun night out with friends. Stop by for a few games, enjoy a pizza, and then catch a movie in one of our two HD theaters. You can even purchase a drink at the bar and take it into the theater with you for the ultimate entertainment experience.
We’re excited to continue offering this great venue as part of our growing collection of community-focused amenities. In addition to the Foundry, the FVMRD also owns and operates Pole Creek Golf Course and Bistro 28 Restaurant in Tabernash, the Grand Park Community Recreation Center (GPCRC) in Fraser, and the Fraser Valley Sports Complex (FVSC), which includes sports fields and a partially enclosed NHL-sized ice rink. We also provide various programming at the Fraser Historical Church and Program Building located at Eisenhower & Norgren Rd in Fraser, CO.
